Your company or group may be the perfect partner to sponsor a local school for either our BAWSI Girls or BAWSI Rollers program.
Do you represent a corporation interested in direct support of a local school near your offices? Are you looking for ways to demonstrate your commitment to inclusiveness and diversity? Are you committed to developing female leaders for the future workforce? Does your organization’s leadership wish to know exactly where your corporate philanthropic dollars go and to see their philanthropy in action? Are your employees eager to get outside and volunteer in a high energy, high impact environment, where every connection fuels more productivity back in the office?
Your company or group may be the perfect partner to sponsor a local school for either our BAWSI Girls or BAWSI Rollers program. If so, we will match you with a partner school that will be your site to engage with as we take care of all program delivery and administration.
*Note: For BAWSI Girls, we operate in elementary schools where approximately 70% of the students are on free/reduced lunch programs. BAWSI Rollers operates in elementary sites where there are dedicated centers for special education.
BAWSI has multiple events through the course of the year through which your organization can participate and “do well by doing good.”
Benefits of BAWSI event sponsorship include:
- Positive brand association
- Introduction to new customers in your target demographics
- Highly cost-effective public relations & media coverage
BAWSI’s largest annual event offers multiple levels of sponsorship. Each Spring BAWSI plays host to a ballroom full of healthy, active women and men who support our work. Our event features celebrity female athletes as hosts and inspires community involvement through storytelling from the people closest to our programs – participants, school administrators & teachers, and parents. We attract 250-350 members of the community, who live, work and play in the heart of Silicon Valley. [More Info]
BAWSI FAN Events (Female Athlete Network)
Sponsoring a BAWSI FAN event enables your company to extend its brand to a network of high performing, high achieving supporters of female athletes. Our network members are health-conscious, physically active, leaders in their communities, and decision-makers in their homes who span multiple generations. Our members work in Silicon Valley’s biggest name companies, coolest start-ups and everything in between, including healthcare, finance, college administration and athletics.
BAWSI Girls Game Day
All of our BAWSI Girls participants are invited to a BAWSI Game Day where they attend a local college women’s sporting event. In addition to providing an extra opportunity for the girls to connect with athletes who sit alongside them in the stands, these events are often the girls’ first exposure to a college environment, helping to broaden the girls’ sense of opportunities for their own future, including the possibility of attending college. Families of our BAWSI Girls are invited to attend for free and we enjoy the help of 30 volunteers from local athletic departments and service organizations like the National Charity League.

Excited to support BAWSI’s work in the community and want to get more people involved? There are so many fun and social ways to rally your friends for a great cause:
Crowdfund Your Next Race or Athletic Challenge
What better way to rise to the challenge than by sweating on someone else’s behalf?! Whether it’s a marathon, a triathlon, an open water swim or a Tough Mudder, you’ve set a goal for yourself and your friends want to cheer you on too. Chances are they can’t be there with you at the finish line, but they can show their support by donating to your favorite charity (BAWSI of course.) You can use any of the following sites to let your friends know about your upcoming event.

Captain a Table at our BAWSI Spring Fundraiser
We would love to have you join us at our annual fundraising event for an evening of inspiration and fun, in true BAWSI style. You won’t have to put on your Sunday best, but you can still get the celebrity experience by hosting a table for 10. Our table captains either; purchase a table and invite their friends as guests, or they volunteer to recruit enough attendees to fill one table. The cost of a table for 10 is $1750, or $175 per person.
Host a BAWSI House Party
If you want to help spread the word about BAWSI and get your own network of friends involved, hosting a house party is the way to go. In the comfort of your own home, and according to your own schedule, you can entertain your friends informally, while they learn more about BAWSI’s programs, history and future. Guests will hear directly from key staff and past participants, they will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about future plans. As a fundraising event, the party culminates in an “ask” for donations by either or both host and BAWSI lead.
