Celebrating the past, present and future of women's sports!

Celebrating Title IX
Thiry-five years ago Title IX legislation gave a generation of women access to educational and athletic opportunities that let them compete, play, and learn like never before. Title IX opened the door to a common experience: a shared bond that created positive outcomes, both expected and unexpected. Now, by joining together, we can ensure continued growth for women not only in sports, but also in our corporations, organizations, schools and communities.

The HERitage Circle Takes Action
The HERitage Circle provides a forum to connect individuals and organizations around current issues that impact the local women's sports community. Roundtable discussions are held quarterly in conjunction with local women's sports events and feature guest speakers who address topics of interest to advocates of women's sports.

Friends (and Competitors) Connecting!
If you've ever participated in, or just watched, a female sporting event, you know women compete at every level. Once we step off the field, we use the strength, agility and teamwork learned in the game to help us work together in other areas of our lives. The HERitage Circle is building a network to connect individuals with a range of experiences on and off the field. Maybe you're a recent grad and would like to meet a former athlete who is established in a career that captures your interest. Or you might enjoy meeting others who have successfully fit sports back into their lives while working full time. The HERitage Circle is the place to begin.

HERitage Circle members become part of a community. Members will:

Attend quarterly round table discussions about current issues in women's sports
Be invited to support athletes and coaches transitioning to non-athletic careers
Receive email alerts about women's sporting events where your attendance makes a difference
Provide support for BAWSI's grassroots athletic programs for girls
